BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
Ms. Glenn is a member of the firm's transactional department and specializes
in real estate and business law. She has represented developers, lenders, and
general corporate clients on a wide range of matters, from purchase, leasing,
financing, to entity formation, reorganization and sale. Representative transactions
include representation of:
Rockefeller Group Development Corp. for California projects in Sacramento,
Torrance, Rancho Cucamonga and desert cities involving subdivision and development
of industrial and office facilities
Argonaut Insurance Group in its sale of a large industrial/office site in
Los Angeles for redevelopment
Fieldstone Communities in formation of joint ventures with public employees'
retirement system to finance single family home developments in Southern California
Beverly Connection in its sale to Apollo/Archon
Crescent Heights in acquisitions financings and sales of residential projects
in California
Border Grill ™ and Ciudad ™ in the formation of restaurant ventures and leasing
Ms. Glenn also has represented clients in 1031 exchange transactions, ground
leases with California counties, development of waterfront properties, large
office transactions and sales to NYSE REITS (including Up-REIT transactions).
Ms. Glenn is the former General Counsel for DeAnza Corporation, a real estate
syndication company.
PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS
Ms. Glenn is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the State Bar of California (Sections on Real Property and Business). She also serves on the Board of Trustees of Congregation Kol Ami and on the Real Estate and Construction Division Cabinet of the Jewish Federation.
EDUCATION
Ms. Glenn graduated cum laude from Loyola Law School in 1979. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Pitzer College in 1975.
